Now that we’ve been watching the 2020 Corvettes out in the wild being tested and measured by their new owners, we have a new appreciation for the mid-engine Corvette’s ability to hook-up those rear wheels to the pavement.
That ability, of course, is a feature of the 40/60 weight distribution that comes from moving the engine rearward and it now gives C8 Corvette drivers an edge on the dragstrip that they didn’t necessarily have in previous generations.
