We are back for another exciting edition of Midyear Monday, our weekly image gallery featuring Corvettes built between 1963-1967.
For those that don’t know, there are actually two different theories on how the C2 Corvettes picked up the “Midyear” nickname. Some say it’s because the C2s were built during the middle 1960s with production spanning from 1963 to 1967, while others say the name came in vogue after the C3s were produced, with Midyears became the description of the generation in the middle of the C1 “solid axles” and the C3 “sharks”.
