At least six 1963 Corvette split-window coupes will be on the block in January at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Not the least of which is this custom splitter magnificently done by Jeff Hayes and American Speed Shop.
This beauty came to our attention thanks to a post on the Gas Monkey Garage site, where crew member Johnathan points out that “custom” in the car world can sometimes be a little risky as “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” At the same time, he also believes that while custom done right may not always meet everyone’s taste requirements, all good work should be appreciated.
