MotorTrend Claims Chevrolet Will Lose Money on Every Sub-$80K C8 Corvette Stingray So

https://www.corvetteblogger.com/imag..._1-585x329.jpgIf you can believe a story posted last week by MotorTrend, the mid-engine Corvette’s starting price below $60,000 really is too good to be true.
MotorTrend has previously reported that the C8 Corvette will see a price increase for the 2021 model year. Now the magazine says a senior GM source tells them that increase would have to be around $20,000 to cover the actual cost of the car, a hike we know won’t be happening to keep customers from revolting.
